What is this new feature?
To unlock efficient management and transparency between you and your consultant, Clora is introducing the new Timesheet Portal on platform.
How does it work?
You can log in at any time during the course of an active month and review the hours that have currently been logged by the consultant.
At the end of the month, you’ll be alerted when your consultant has officially submitted their timesheet.
You can subsequently review and approve the hours logged by your consultant for the billing cycle.
To learn more, watch our short demo video or check out our how it works page.
What are the benefits?
Effectively manage the time logged for your projects in real-time.
You have full transparency into the hours logged by your consultant(s) throughout the month directly on the Clora Platform.
You can raise any concerns early with your consultant and avoid surprises at the end of the month.
Manage and approve your consultant’s hours on the go across all your devices securely.
Am I obligated to use this?
Yes. At the end of the monthly billing cycle, Clora does require sign-off on the consultant’s submitted hours before generating an official invoice that will be submitted to your company’s AR/AP team.
You will have 5 business days to approve your consultant’s logged time. If you miss this window, you would waive your ability to raise a dispute later for that billing cycle.
When do I have to approve?
You will have 5 business days to approve your consultant’s hours after they submit their timesheet through the Clora Platform.
I’m not the right person to sign off on hours. How do I loop in the right person?
You can invite the right person from your organization right in the timesheet portal. If you have any questions about determining who the right person should be, please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@clora.com for assistance or reach out to us via chat at the bottom right corner of your screen!
How do I dispute a consultant’s hours before the end of the month?
Please directly reach out to your consultant and reference the timesheet line items in question. If you need assistance with raising a dispute with your consultant, please reach out to support@clora.com and our team can help facilitate.
How do I dispute a consultant’s submitted timesheet?
Once a consultant has submitted their timesheet at the end of the billing month, you will be notified and can log in to review. You can request edits to specific line items OR overall edits. This will re-open the timesheet and alert the consultant, who can review and re-submit appropriately. If you and your consultant would like Clora’s assistance to help facilitate, please reach out to support@clora.com.
What happens once I approve a timesheet?
After your approval, an official invoice will be generated. You can download a PDF copy for your records.
The official invoice will be sent to your organization’s AP/AR team via Clora’s Quickbooks account for payment processing.
Is there a fee to use this feature?
You have full access to the Timesheets Portal at no cost.
