Request Proposal

Hiring managers now have the ability to search for and get connected with top consultants like yourself. You will be notified in real-time via email when a hiring manager would like to invite you to create a proposal for a specific need.

Once you review the notification, you can take one of the following actions:

  • Accept - You can accept your invitation and submit a proposal to the hiring manager for the need described

  • Ask a question - If you need more information prior to accepting or declining, you can post a question to the hiring manager. Clora will follow up with the hiring manager to help facilitate a timely response.

  • Decline - If the project described is not a good fit for you or if you do not have the availability, you can decline the invitation + provide an internal reason to Clora. The hiring manager will be alerted.

How much time do I have to respond?

If you have not responded after 2 days from the hiring manager alerting you, Clora and our Platform will send reminders. If we have not heard back from you after 5 days from the hiring manager alerting you, Clora will reach out to you and the hiring manager.

We recommend responding (accepting, declining, or asking a question) as quickly as possible to ensure that you’re one of the first candidates reviewed by the hiring manager.

If you’re unsure, you can always post a question to the hiring manager OR ask Clora via support@clora.com or through our chat bot on the bottom right corner of your screen.

When will the company’s identity or contact information be provided?

The names and contact information of hiring managers using the Self-Service Platform is not publicly available. Agreed upon disintermediation terms and conditions do apply as you review potential projects, submit proposals, interview, and on-board.

Is my Personally Identifiable Information (PII) listed on the Self-Service Platform?

Your name and contact information is not publicly available. You can see exactly what your profile looks like to hiring managers on the Self-Service Platform by logging into your profile and clicking on My Profile in the upper right corner

Once you’re in your profile view, you can click to the View Public Profile link to see what this looks like.

Will my PII be provided to a hiring manager once they Request Propisal? When will it?

Your name and contact information remain private until you submit your proposal. Agreed upon disintermediation terms and conditions do apply as hiring managers review your submitted proposals, interview, and on-board.

Asking a Question

If you need more information prior to accepting or declining, you can post a question. This is not automatically sent directly to the hiring manager. A Clora representative will triage the question with the hiring manager to help facilitate a timely response back to you. If you have any follow up questions, reach out to support@clora.com directly.

Submitting a Proposal

If you are interested in the opportunity posted by the hiring manager, you can accept the invite and create a proposal. Once your proposal is ready, you can submit the proposal to the hiring manager.

NOTE - Clora representatives do not edit and/or triage your proposal. Your proposal goes directly to the hiring manager when you click submit.

If you would like to recall your proposal or candidacy after submission, please reach out to support@clora.com for prompt assistance.

How quickly should I hear back after submitting my proposal?

Hiring managers are immediately notified via email of your proposal submission and can view all the information you provided. Hiring managers can then take one of the following standard actions:

  • Share with colleagues

  • Decline

  • Request an Interview

If a hiring manager has not responded after 2 days of your proposal submission, Clora and our Platform will send reminders. If we have not heard back from the hiring manager after 5 days of your proposal submission, Clora will reach out to you and the hiring manager.

How do consultant agreements work?

Your assigned Clora representative will be in touch about agreements and contracting once the hiring manager has reviewed your proposal and requested an interview.

Interviewing

Once the hiring manager has requested an interview, a Clora representative will reach out to you with introductory details about the company and facilitate the execution of Clora’s consulting agreement. Once executed, Clora will coordinate an interview between both parties. Meeting placeholders and conference information will be provided by Clora.
