We've compiled some of the commonly asked questions consultants have asked about Ratings & Reviews and how it works. If you have any questions not captured here, please enter your questions directly through our support chat or email us at support@clora.com.
How does it work?
Once your project with a company comes to a close, Clora’s marketplace will request feedback about your work on your specific project from the hiring manager.
Feedback:
The overall rating is a cumulative average of the rating by category.
We provide a public-facing text review, which would render on a consultant’s profile, and a private review, which is only visible to Clora internally.
Both of these open-ended fields are optional to hiring managers but highly encouraged. Once a review is submitted, Clora will internally review it. Once passed, Clora will publish the review on a consultant’s profile.
Is feedback required?
Feedback is highly encouraged from hiring managers but is not required.
What do you ask the hiring manager?
Feedback:

We provide a public-facing text review, which would render on a consultant’s profile, and a private review, which is only visible to Clora internally. Both of these open-ended fields are optional to hiring managers but highly encouraged.
What does each category mean?
Technical Expertise - Technical skills, has the knowledge and experience to complete the work assigned, quality of work
Communication - Ability to effectively communicate (verbal, written, and/or overall), communicates well and often
Professionalism - Dedicated to the responsibility, courtesy, and honesty while dealing with clients and colleagues
Reliability - Able to meet critical deadlines and milestones, transparent timelines, can be depended on to do the work required of them
Teamwork - Listens carefully to what others are saying, respects the ideas and opinions of other team members, shares expertise with others to teach as well as achieve goals, collaborative, ready to help
The project/company wasn’t a good fit. Do hiring managers still leave feedback? How do you reflect these nuances?
Feedback is on a per-project basis. We provide access to ratings by categories and open text review fields so a hiring manager can elaborate and provide the context other potential hiring managers need to determine if the expert would be a good fit for their specific engagement. All feedback will go through a Clora internal review period before it is published to moderate any bias or relevancy concerns. You, as the consultant, will also have the opportunity to view and, if appropriate, contest feedback if there are issues with bias or relevancy.
What if I’d like to leave about the hiring team/company?
At this time, only hiring managers can leave feedback about consultants, but we do anticipate collecting feedback about companies from consultants in the near future. We will let you know when this feature is available. Please reach out to support@clora.com with any feedback you would like to leave in the interim.
What can I see?
You, as the Consultants, will see the cumulative overall rating and will see the public open text review left by the hiring manager on your profile.
What displays on my profile?
Your profile will have the cumulative overall rating and the public open text review left by the hiring manager on your profile.

When will I be notified that a hiring manager has left feedback?
If feedback has passed Clora’s internal review without any issues, the review will be public and you will be notified via email. You will NOT be notified if the feedback has failed to pass Clora’s internal review and will not be published.
Can I respond to a review I disagree with?
At this time, you cannot publicly reply to a hiring manager’s review. As more features become available, we will keep you looped in on those updates.

All ratings will go through an internal review. If feedback has passed Clora’s internal review without any issues, the feedback will be public and you will be notified via email.
You will then have 3 business days to dispute feedback that you feel violates the review policy. Please email support@clora.com referencing the project and reason.
