How does it work?

Simply click Register and enter your name, email, and set a password to start the onboarding experience.

  • Clora will guide you through a streamlined profile builder.

  • Each concise step will focus on a specific building block to create a comprehensive profile.

  • Save time by leveraging resume suggestions when you upload your resume - PDF or Word Documents without images work best!

  • You can save and exit at any time. Everything you have entered will be saved!

  • We encourage you to fill out as much as possible.

  • Clora will use the information you enter to provide you with higher-fit suggestions and opportunities.

Is there a fee to sign up?

No. Creating a Consultant Profile on Clora’s Marketplace is free with no obligations or requirements.

How can this help me?

By taking advantage of Clora’s profile builder and resume-based profile suggestions after registration, you will:

  • Build your industry-specific profile faster

  • Indicate all of your primary areas of expertise

  • Get alerted to high-fit opportunities right from the start

Can I skip a section?

While you can skip steps and/or sections, we encourage you to fill out as much as possible. Clora will use this information to provide you with higher-fit suggestions and opportunities.

Can I exit the profile builder mid-way?

Yes! You can save and exit the builder and everything you have entered thus far will be saved until you return to complete your profile. Once complete, Clora will use this information to provide you with higher-fit suggestions and opportunities.

How can I save my progress during the creation experience?

The Platform saves the information you enter when you progress to the next step automatically.

If you save & exit before reaching the end, everything you’ve entered thus far will be saved to your profile.

What kind of information do you collect?

The profile builder includes the following sections:

  • CV/Resume - We give you the opportunity to provide your CV/resume and/or LinkedIn. Our platform will scan and return suggestions to speed up your profile creation. You can review suggestions and either accept, edit, or decline.

  • About - Your seniority, languages, and location (where you are based). If we are able to extract your location from your resume, this will be pre-filled.

  • Education - Include degree(s) and areas of study. If we are able to extract your education from your resume, this will be pre-filled.

  • Functional Area(s) - You can select up to 3 functional areas where you have expert proficiency level. This is one of the first filters we’ll leverage when reaching out to you about opportunities.

  • Therapeutic Area(s) - Select as many as you would like based on your experience.

  • Product Technologies/Modalities - Select as many as you would like based on your experience.

  • Availability & Target Hourly Rate - You indicate how many hours you are available now. You can keep this updated as you maintain your profile. We will also ask if you have a target hourly rate. If you are unsure, not a problem. We are here as a resource to help you determine typical hourly rates!

I’m unsure which seniority/level of experience to select.

If you’re not quite sure or you might be flexible on seniority, you can select more than 1. Clora can help you finalize this! Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at your convenience via chat or email.

I’m not sure what hourly rate range I should indicate.

Not all the questions apply to me. What should I do?

If certain questions do not apply to your background and experience, simply select “N/A” or skip the question. If you have any questions, reach out to Clora at your convenience via chat or email.

I can’t find or don’t see what I’m looking for in your dropdowns.

For many questions, we offer an “Other” option that allows you to enter the most appropriate selection(s).

For all other fields, you can reach out to us at your convenience via chat or email. We can help you find the right selection OR add it to our picklist.

Can you build my profile from my resume/CV?

Yes! You can upload your resume/CV in the first step. We’ll do our best to scan and extract some of the following items:

  • Bio/about/summary

  • Location

  • Education

  • Past Job History

If we are able to successfully detect these elements, we’ll present them to you for review.

You can accept, edit, or reject the suggestions we make. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at your convenience if you have any questions via chat or email.

What type of file format should my resume/CV be in?

For best results and to maximize the chances for Clora to read and extract your information, we recommend one of the following:

  • Word Document (e.g. .docx, .doc)

  • Non-Image PDF

I didn’t get any suggestions after uploading my resume/CV. What should I do?

We will do our best to scan and extract as much as we can from your resume/CV, but sometimes due to a variety of reasons, we may not be able to return results. Reach out to Clora via chat or email if you have any questions.

Some of the common reasons include:

  • File format is incompatible >> Convert your resume/CV to a word or non-image PDF version to increase the likelihood of returning results.

  • Your resume/CV may be an “image” rather than text >> Ensure that your resume/CV is text.

    • TIP: Convert your resume/CV to a word document to increase the likelihood of returning results.

Unable to recognize resume sections >> Ensuring you have clear section headlines that our scans can detect will increase the chances of returning results.

My suggestions don't quite look right. What should I do?

We will do our best to scan and extract as much as we can from your resume/CV using resume parsing technology, but sometimes, we may not be able to get things exactly right. Reach out to Clora via chat or email if you have any questions.

One of the most common reasons is:

  • Unable to recognize distinct resume sections >> Ensuring you have clear section headlines that our resume scans can detect will increase the chances of better results.

Can you build my profile using my LinkedIn Profile?

We may suggest technical tag suggestions such as functional areas, therapeutic areas, and product technologies by adding your LinkedIn profile URL and clicking the Verify button.

If you return suggestions, you are able to accept, edit, and/or reject any tags.
