Upload a resume
Keep your profile up-to-date by ensuring your Clora Consultant Profile has the most current version of your resume/CV. Clora's resume uploader takes advantage of resume parsing technology in order to make building and maintaining your profile efficient.
Review and accept suggestions that Clora is able to extract from your uploaded resume/CV.
Getting Started
Login (hyperlink to login page) to your Clora account and navigate to your profile by clicking your icon/name in the upper right corner.
Adding resume for the first time
If you have yet to upload a resume, click on +Add Resume
If you have an existing resume
If you have an existing resume/CV, click on the Edit link.
In the new window, click on the Clear File link.
Upload a new resume
Once you have opened the resume file uploader window OR cleared out your out-of-date resume/CV, click on the Select a File button and select the appropriate resume/CV file.
Click the Save button to save your file to your profile.
TIP: For best results and to maximize the chances for Clora to read and extract your information, we recommend having your resume/CV in either a Word Document (e.g. .docx, .doc) or a Non-Image PDF file type.
Reviewing suggestions (if applicable)
Once you have completed the upload, if we are able to effectively scan your resume/CV we will present suggestions for review.
We’ll do our best to scan and extract the following items:
Bio/About/Summary
Location
Education
Past Job History
If you would like to accept ALL suggestions, click the Add suggestions button OR you can skip/not accept suggestions by clicking Skip.
Accepting, Editing, or Declining Certain Suggestions
You have the option to accept, edit, or decline the suggestions on a per-item basis.
To accept, keep the checkbox ON. By default, all will be checked ON.
To edit, click on the pencil icon to make your changes.
All changes will be reflected upon saving.
If you would like to decline a certain item, uncheck the box. The item will now have a strike-through. You can check this back ON if you would like to accept.
Adding Suggestions to Your Profile
Once you have confirmed your profile suggestions, click Add suggestions.
Your profile will be updated upon confirmation.
TIP: This will overwrite information you already have in those fields.

Can you build my profile from my resume/CV?
Yes! You can upload your resume/CV, and we’ll do our best to scan and extract some of the following items:
Bio/about/summary
Location
Education
Past Job History
If we are able to successfully detect these elements, we’ll present them to you for review.
You can accept, edit, or reject the suggestions we make. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at your convenience if you have any questions via chat or email.
What type of file format should my resume/CV be in?
For best results and to maximize the chances for Clora to read and extract your information, we recommend one of the following:
Word Document (e.g. .docx, .doc)
Non-Image PDF
I didn’t get any suggestions after uploading my resume/CV. What should I do?
We will do our best to scan and extract as much as we can from your resume/CV, but sometimes due to a variety of reasons, we may not be able to return results. Reach out to Clora via chat or email if you have any questions.
Some of the common reasons include:
File format is incompatible >> Convert your resume/CV to a word or non-image PDF version to increase the likelihood of returning results.
Your resume/CV may be an “image” rather than text >> Ensure that your resume/CV is text.

Unable to recognize resume sections >> Ensuring you have clear section headlines that our scans can detect will increase the chances of returning results.
My suggestions don't quite look right. What should I do?
We will do our best to scan and extract as much as we can from your resume/CV using resume parsing technology, but sometimes, we may not be able to get things exactly right. Reach out to Clora via chat or email if you have any questions.
One of the most common reasons is:
Unable to recognize distinct resume sections >> Ensuring you have clear section headlines that our resume scans can detect will increase the chances of better results.
I already have information in these fields. What happens to this information if I accept suggestions?
The suggestion(s) you accept will overwrite anything you may have previously entered.
If you accept a suggestion, the data in that field will be overwritten and removed entirely. If you would like to keep the information you have in a certain section, we recommend declining all suggestion(s) for that section.
