With the Consultant

  • Understand what specific deadlines and deliverables need to be met or delivered before the project ends. Include specifics on a transition plan with another team member if necessary.

  • Stay on top of communication with your consultant until the engagement is fully completed

  • Calendarize any meetings necessary to complete the engagement

  • Align with your consultant on how many hours they will be working as they wrap up. Some projects ramp down quickly, and some are more gradual.

  • Prepare for return of all company materials (i.e. company badge, laptop, etc.)

    • Provide a laptop shipment box or ask for the consultant to arrange one if needed.

    • Coordinate with IT for system access shut off date for emails, VPN, etc.

  • Have an off-boarding call with your consultant to discuss performance and any feedback you want to share with them

With Clora

  • Confirm the project will be ending on the contract expiration date and will not be extended

  • Review and approve the Consultant’s final timesheet

  • Provide feedback to Clora on the Consultant’s performance for future client engagements
