Commonly asked questions about requesting interview rounds via Clora's Scheduling Feature

What is this new feature?

To streamline selecting the right candidate avoiding the back and forth meeting coordination, we are introducing an in-app Interview Scheduling feature that allows you to:

  • Book multiple interview rounds

  • Indicate your team’s availability at your convenience

  • Invite colleagues to specific interview rounds

How does it work?

Once you and your team determine you would like to interview a candidate, from the candidate’s proposal:

  • Click Schedule Interview

  • Indicate windows of availability

  • Let Clora know who will be attending this particular interview round + Submit

  • The candidate will be notified and be prompted to select a 30 min slot

  • Once confirmed, your dedicated Clora Representative will send meeting conference details to you and your indicated colleagues

  • If you would like to schedule other rounds with final candidates, you can do so right from the candidate’s proposal as well!

Is there a fee to use this feature?

You have full access to use the scheduling feature at no cost to you or your colleagues.

How can this help me?

The in-app Interview Scheduling feature allows you to:

  • Book multiple interview rounds

  • Indicate your team’s availability at your convenience

  • Invite colleagues to specific interview rounds

  • Avoid unnecessary back and forth meeting coordination with Clora, your team, and the candidate

  • Consultants are immediately notified and prompted to confirm a 30-min slot once you submit your team’s availability windows.

  • Instantly edit availability windows if calendars change.

  • Cancel in-app and submit new availability windows instantly

How many availability slots can I provide?

You will be prompted to enter at least 2 slots that are greater than 30 mins in duration. You can enter as many more as you would like!

What if my teammates are in different time zones?

You will be prompted to select only 1 time zone when entering availability windows for your interview request. Please ensure that you convert teammate availability to your selected time zone.

Can I provide availability during the weekend?

Since we are taking into account schedules from multiple participants on your team and the consultant candidate, at this time we are only allowing you to select weekdays through the Interview Scheduling feature.

If you and your team require accommodations on the weekends due to urgent reasons, please reach out to your dedicated Clora Representative to handle these special circumstances.

I am not able to indicate slots for the same day or the next day. What should I do?

In order to ensure that all participants have enough time to get alerted and select a slot, the Interview Scheduling feature does add a buffer.

What if my team needs to cancel a request?

If the Interview Request has not been confirmed by the candidate, Clora suggests editing the interview available times, which can be done through the candidate’s proposal OR through the Pending sub-tab under the My Interviews page.

If you need to cancel outright, please reach out to your dedicated Clora Representative.

What if my team needs to change our availability?

Navigate to the candidate’s proposal OR through the Pending sub-tab under the My Interviews page. Click on the Edit times link.

You will be able to change or add more times. The consultant candidate will instantly see the edited/new time slots.

What if my team needs to reschedule a booked meeting?

If you need to reschedule, navigate to the candidate’s proposal OR through the Upcoming sub-tab under the My Interviews page. Open the specific interview, and click on the Cancel link.

You can re-book a new interview directly from the candidate’s proposal.

The consultant candidate will be notified instantly of the change and be prompted to select a new 30 min slot based on the availability windows you have provided.

Please be sure to cancel/edit as soon as possible to give all attendees ample notice! Your dedicated Clora Representative will remove or update all outdated meeting placeholders promptly.

Can I change the Interview duration?

At this time, all interview slots are currently 30 mins in duration - Clora interviewing best practice!

How can I add the confirmed interview meeting placeholder to my work calendar?

Your dedicated Clora Representative will send you a Google Meeting Placeholder to add your work calendar. You can always log in to Clora’s Platform to review all interviews and edit/cancel as needed.

Your Clora Representative will remove and/or update all outdated meeting placeholders promptly if you make any changes in-app.

Can my colleagues request an interview or edit/cancel upcoming interviews on my behalf?

Yes! Make sure you have added your colleagues as Admins or Managers via the Add Coworkers feature at the top of the project or candidate proposal first.
