Creating a Project

You can post your needs fast and efficiently through a streamlined project creation wizard. Each concise step will include tips & examples to help you build a strong project post. A new comprehensive summary allows you to review and quickly fine-tune your post.

We will highlight how this works below.

Log into your Clora account and click the + Add Project button to kick off your project creation.

Select Create a new project and click Continue.

The wizard will launch and guide you through 6 concise steps:

  • Name - A descriptive title or role of your job/project/need

  • Expertise - The technical specifications your candidate should have including flagging which specs are “must haves” or deal breakers.

  • Responsibilities - Key tasks and deliverables the candidate will be responsible for.

  • Scope - A concise description about the role, expectations, and a short description of your company for candidates to gauge interest.

  • Logistics - Duration, weekly commitment, and any location/travel requirements.

  • Budget - The target seniority or level of experience that you are looking for in a candidate along with the budget range your team is comfortable with.

Enter a descriptive role or title for your project.

TIP: If you are having trouble coming up with an appropriate title, check out our ProTip OR the examples for guidance!

Click Next: Expertise to move to the next section. This will save your project. As you advance through each section, the platform will automatically save your draft.

Select all the technical expertise tag(s) that your candidate should have.

TIP: If a certain question is not applicable to your project, select Not applicable to skip.

If you cannot find your selection in the dropdown, reach out via our chat in the bottom right corner OR your dedicated Clora representative. We can provide guidance on the appropriate selection or add the choice to our picklist.

Clicking Next will advance you to a confirmation page, where you can indicate which selected tags are must haves or deal breakers for candidates.

Click on the plus sign (+) next to the tag. The tag will be flagged as a must have. You can remove it by selecting the minus sign (-).

Click Next: Responsibilities once you have finished indicating your must haves.

In the next section, enter the primary tasks, deliverables, and activities the candidate will be responsible for.

TIP: Based on best practices, Clora recommends at least 2 but no more than 4.

Enter a brief description of your project and your company in order to give candidates a quick snapshot of what to expect. Clora recommends including information such as:

  • 1 sentence about your company (type, phase, technology, therapeutic area(s), etc)

  • Quick overview of the role and scope

  • Candidate expectations

TIP: If you need assistance or would like a starting point/template, click the Add Text Suggestions link to insert a quick snippet.

Replace the placeholder text and adjust as needed!

In the logistics section, you will be prompted to indicate:

  • In-office expectations

    • If you do need some in-office days, indicate the number of days per week

    • Indicate your office location

    • Indicate if in-office is a requirement. If you are flexible, leave this unchecked

  • Travel expectations

    • If you do need some in-office days, indicate the number of days per month

    • Indicate all travel locations/sites

    • Indicate if travel is a requirement. If you are flexible, leave this unchecked

  • Length/Duration of the project

  • Average hours per week

In the Budget section, you will be prompted to indicate:

  • Seniority or level of experience

    • If you’re “in between” or still determining preference, you can indicate more than 1 (e.g. you can indicate director and manager if you’re open to a senior manager or associate director levels)

  • Budget

    • Indicate the budget range approved for this project/need

    • If you’re not quite sure what the appropriate market rate would be for this particular need, Clora can help once you’ve submitted your project to us.

TIP: For Seniority, we’ve included brief descriptions of what each level typically entails.

Once you have completed all sections, you will be directed to an overall summary view of your project.

Here you can visit exact sections, fine-tune, and finalize your post.

You have access to the following optional sections if applicable:

  • Additional requirements - these include:

    • Language(s)

    • Education

    • Certifications

  • Team - Add a Coworker to help you finalize your project or prepare for candidate proposal reviews!

Once confirmed, you can Submit to Clora.

If you need to exit the project creation experience, click on the Exit Project Questions link at the top right corner.

Navigate to My Projects and click on the Drafts sub-tab.

Find your draft project and click Finish Draft to restart the project creation experience.

You will be redirected to the summary view to see everything you’ve filled thus far. From here, you can pick up right where you left off!

You can still make edits on your submitted project as long as your project hasn’t been made live by Clora.

You can edit the whole project by clicking the Edit button

You will be directed to the summary view of your project and edit sections as needed.

Additionally, you can also edit on a per-section basis by hovering and clicking on the edit icon next to each section.
